Mountain Troop Adventures is organising the Welsh 3 peaks charity challenge in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital & the Evelina Children's Wing at St Thomas's Hospital. The challenge is to climb the three highest peaks in Wales. Mt Snowdon 1,085 m, Cadair Idris 893 m & Pen y Fan 886 m. This will be a team event at £500 per team.

The Brecon Beacons national park is perfect for Nordic Walking..the terrain while steep in places, is easy under foot. The area is famous for the highest peak in South Wales, Pen-y- Fan @ 886 Mtr's You will need a certain level of fitness to attend, and be qualified in Nordic Walking. Evidence of your proficiency will be needed prior to attending the event, this is for insurance & safety purposes.

A Sunday morning walk through the beautiful Ashdown forest. The walk is FREE and is open to anyone wanting to take part, bring partners if you wish. The Ashdown Forest is famous for the exploits of 'Winnie the Poo' and the author AA Milne who lived there. We will be taking a route that will take in 'Pooh stick's bridge'
